Day 1 IN – UBUD
Upon your arrival, airport pick-up by our driver for your transfer to your hotel in Ubud. On the way we make a short stop at a local kebun, a Balinese fruit and spice garden, where you can witness the burning process of the famous ‘kopi Bali’ coffee beans. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 UBUD
A free day to enjoy your arrival in paradise.

Day 3 UBUD
After breakfast, we bring you to the house and workshop of a master woodcarver or to the traditional compound of a painting family, where you can learn from the masters how Balinese fine arts are practiced. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 4 UBUD
Ubud has great scenery and spectacular natural surroundings. Today you can opt to enjoy a volcano downhill cycling excursion or white water rafting through the Ayung river that crosses Ubud.

Today you head for Bali’s rugged northwestern coast. On the way you halt at Bali’s gorgeous botanical garden, the water temple Ulun Danu, the twin crater lakes Tamblingan & Buyan and the mountain town Munduk, where you go for a walk to a hidden waterfall. En route to the coast you can admire the rice terrace panoramas at Mayong.

Today you head out to the Bali National Park. After arriving at the edge of the park, you board a local fisherman’s boat bay and navigate between mangrove islets to a gorgeous stretch of desert white sand that leads into the Park. This place is the only part of Bali where you can see black haired macaque monkeys. After a walk in this part of the Park, you board your boat and sail on to Menjangan, a paradise for snorkelers and divers located 40 minutes off the coast. This small idyllic island is part of West Bali’s National Park and was named after a local type of deer that lives in its woods. After snorkeling the southern wall of the island, we bring you safely back to land for your return to the hotel.

Today you cross over to Bali’s northern coast. En route there is time for a visit of Pura Pulaki, the sea temple guarded by sacred (but cheeky) monkeys. Banjars hot springs are also worth a visit, as is Brahma Arama Virana, Bali’s only Buddhist temple.

An early rise to sail out in a local fishermans boat to watch the dolphins head out to sea. Afterwards, return to the hotel for breakfast. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Today you head for East Bali, a long scenic drive along the northern coast. The sea slips in and out of view along the way, and after visits to the port of Buleleng and nearby Chinese temple, the pink stone temple Pura Beji, the fresh water springs of Yeh Sanih and a cashew nut plantation, you arrive in the fishermens town of Amed.

Day 10 AMED
A day at leisure to try your hand at diving with Puri Wirata’s dive shop managed by European dive masters.

Day 11 AMED
Another day at leisure to explore the excellent snorkeling and diving possibilities off the coast. You might also test your diving skills at the gorgeous Bloo Lagoon, a nearby dive spot reachable from Padangbai harbor.

Today you return to the comforts of South Bali. On the way we make an exploration tour of East Bali’ s highlights. After enjoying the royal bathing pools of Tirtagangga and spectacular rice terrace views at Selat, you visit Pura Besakih, the mother temple of Bali. After a short stop at a fishermans village, where you can enjoy the local fish delicacies ikan pepes and sate lilit, we bring you to Klungkung, location of a royal courthouse with typical ceiling paintings. Finally, you arrive at your last destination.

After breakfast, at leisure until your transfer out to catch the flight to your onward destination.
